●Creative agency and network in Vienna, since 2024
About the Flamingo Agency
The Flamingo Agency is a creative agency in Vienna, founded by Julian Seum in 2024, and a network at the same time: Julian runs the business, four partners bring their craft to the table, and the right minds come together for each project. Together, we combine more than 80 years of advertising experience from consumer marketing and work for sole traders, startups and medium-sized businesses throughout Austria.
With us, you decide for every project whether we work traditionally by hand or with AI assistance. And every project ends with a human checking the result before it goes out.

The Flamingo Agency is both a company and a network.
Julian Seum runs it as owner; Manuel, Xavi, Emre and Daniel are his partners. Depending on what your project needs, Julian brings in the right minds – often all four. For you, that means:
One point of contact and everything your project needs.
02The right input
Flamingos are born grey. Their feathers turn pink only because of what they eat.
So they need the right input.
03Character
Flamingos are graceful, intelligent,
and usually pretty funny.
04Team players
Flamingos live in flocks and look out for one another.
In other words, they are real team players.
05Keep an eye out
And the best part? Everyone loves flamingos. Keep an eye out:
They are everywhere!
06And that is why
After all, advertising needs to stand out …
And what stands out more than a flamingo?

●Our values
What we stand for
Flamingos stand out. And that is exactly what we like about them.
No one here should have to conform, hide or make themselves smaller. These values are not decoration; they are the foundation of everything we do.
Respect. No ifs or buts.
We treat everyone as an equal, regardless of their background, skin colour, religion, gender, age or who they love. For us, that is non-negotiable.
We do not look away.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and every other form of discrimination have no place here. When we see them, we speak up – even when it gets uncomfortable.
Communication everyone can see themselves in.
Words and images shape how we see the world. That is why we design and write in ways that do not provide a platform for stereotypes and help as many people as possible to feel included.
Diversity makes us better.
Different perspectives lead to better ideas. We deliberately bring them to the table – in our team, among our partners and in every project.
A clear stance.
We do not work with people or companies that spread hate or exclusion. We would rather turn down a job than abandon our values.
We keep learning.
We do not know everything, and we make mistakes too. We listen, reflect and get a little better every day.
Colourful, loud and principled:
Flamingo Agency.
●Our stance on AI
Our AI manifesto
We at the Flamingo Agency have serious concerns about current developments in AI systems around the world.
As an advertising agency, using artificial intelligence is unavoidable if we are to remain competitive. However, we see it as our democratic duty to advocate for far stricter regulation of AI. We consider its use in autonomous weapons systems and the war economy not merely concerning, but extremely dangerous.
As early as 1979, an IBM training document warned that a computer cannot be held accountable for its decisions and should therefore never make a management decision on its own. The Flamingo Agency follows this principle too.
AI data centres pose enormous challenges for local communities, their ecosystems and residents, that go far beyond an unpleasant hum in the distance. Valuable drinking water is used to cool these facilities, not to mention their high electricity consumption. They also create hardly any jobs for communities that have often attracted such projects with tax incentives.
And yes, we will continue to use AI-assisted systems. We are a small team with a big dream, and in today’s market it is essential to engage with these systems and use them in the creative industries. What we do not want is the taint of war, genocide, oppression and exploitation.
Competitiveness must never come before human dignity.
We therefore call on governments worldwide to regulate AI systems, halt all developments in autonomous warfare, scrutinise the construction and operation of data centres far more rigorously, penalise violations and ensure expansion happens in consultation with local communities. We support Austria’s current approach, the conclusions of the 2024 Vienna Conference on Autonomous Weapons Systems, and the EU AI Act. But these frameworks must be consistently implemented and further developed.
Artificial intelligence should support, not destroy. That is what we stand for.
Vision
Our own vision is simple: a transition to environmentally friendly AI systems. Unfortunately, these are only just being developed. GAINS (Green AI for INnovation and Sustainability) is carrying out important research into Green AI. The goal is regulated use of AI as a tool, whether in marketing or elsewhere—but never in warfare, deception or the spread of disinformation.
Mission
Our mission remains unchanged: we do everything we can to help our clients close the gap between product and buyer, be noticed and understood by their customers, and ideally make a positive contribution to our shared future on this planet. We ask you to help us do that.
